It has been a busy start to the summer with our Summer Camps, Summer Sampler classes and building leadership in our Student Teacher Education Pegasus Program (STEPP). It is exciting to have our studio brimming with excitement, joy and energy!! There is nothing better than creative, joyful children!!   
Studio Happenings; July Special - Register during the month of July for a fall art class and receive a $30 discount. Art classes work in various mediums from painting & sculpting to multimedia projects! Register before July 31 and we will apply the discount.

Summer Dance Intensive - Register today before it’s too late and get into dancing shape for your fall classes!!  August 22 to September 2, from 12:30 to 4:00 each day.  We have guest teachers with special programs and favorite teachers!  Perfect for teens who like to sleep in! Benefits of being Part of our Ballet or Performance Company
At Pegasus Dance Studios we aim to develop teamwork skills in all of our classes, but the dancers who are part of the Ballet and Performance companies gain deeper experiences through their extra commitment to dance. By using their passions and gifts of dance to give back to communities, here, near and far,  through performance and charity work they learn the true meaning of teamwork. 
By being part of a team they are learning additional skills such as how to lead, to follow, to support and to communicate at greater levels. These are skills that our Company dancers will benefit from their entire life whether they choose to pursue dance long term or not. 
We begin each season with encouraging connection through team building exercises or events. Although fun, the true purpose is to encourage our Company dancers to develop greater relationships with each other and feel comfortable sharing, supporting and encouraging their teammates.
As the dance season progresses, our dancers put their teamwork skills to the test while learning choreography, rehearsals and embracing the school's mission of kindness and respect for themselves and each other.  Each person’s role will depend on someone else’s, so everyone has to be willing to put in their full energy in classes, rehearsals and behind the movement while quickly picking up new choreography and skills. The common goal drives the team forward: to put forward their highest effort for the best possible result for the group!  We ask that each dancer take full responsibility for their part of their training and showing up for each other, knowing that what they do affects the others.
As the team grows in confidence and skill they discover that they can only go so far alone and they understand that to reach their personal goals and their best selves they must work together to lift each other up with positivity.  When this does not go smoothly, we celebrate each dancer's uniqueness and so part of the process is developing empathy and working through individual and group challenges in a safe and supportive environment.
The skills that have been growing all season unfold at performance time, revealing the group’s strengths, understanding and support for each other.  Our aim is that the dancers are unified and develop trust that will push each other to reach new skills as individuals and group dancers.  
There are no auditions to be part of our Ballet or Performance companies. We place each dancer based on their skills, classes, and levels they are training at for the best fit for them to learn, grow  and thrive.  We love that we have the opportunity to work with our dancers at a deeper level to build confidence, skill and  knowledge through teamwork, community and FUN  through dance!
