This is a personal post because Pegasus Dance Studios is not just a business for me and my family but a place we love and are deeply passionate about. As many of you know my mother, Lynda, and I were co-founders and partners. Lynda was a visual artist and I was a dance educator and the original name was Pegasus Dance and Art Centre.
My daughters grew up here under the watchful eye of their grandmother who nurtured the artist soul in each of them and all the children who grew to know her and love her through art and dance. She knew each of them by name and even in her later years, when she was no longer physically able to come to the studio she would ask about her past students, wanting to know their stories. Lynda, on her retirement (she never let us use that word as she was leaving to spend time creating and doing her art) left the Art department in extremely good hands to Steve McCabe. Steve has been teaching mixed media and fine art at Pegasus on Saturday’s for at least 25 years (we can’t actually remember), please look at our website for more information. He would love to share with your children the Pegasus Fine and Mixed Media Art Magic created by Lynda!

Last December, before the idea of a pandemic was on our radar, we decided to make this year's theme "Magic". Well, we have seen just how real the magic of coming together through dance and art is over the past few months, and we are believers! Below you will find some "Back to Dance Guidelines". These are based on our COVID policies and will the practices that we will use every day to do our best to keep your family and our families healthy so that we can keep the magic going.
