January Monthly Minute

Happy New Year and Welcome to 2021!

We would like to welcome you all back to dance this week and to 2021 at Pegasus Dance Studios!

We had hoped we would be back to in-studio classes this week as we have all been doing our best to follow all guidelines for health and safety.  We are close and we are staying the course to get us there as soon as possible.  Thank you for sticking with us. We are grateful for all the love, appreciation and feedback we have received.

We continue to be grateful for your belief in us to provide consistent learning for your children.  What we have learned from March 2020 with the limits given to us is that we need to dig deeper to be creative and to find ways to continue to offer the programs and learning opportunities for your children in ways that we didn't know were possible but are continuing to learn, pivot and adapt. Just like you, we ARE doing this and we are excited about all the possibilities to stretch us as educators. 
Our faculty is excited to see you all back in class this week!

We are extremely grateful and fortunate to have programs for extra curricular activities for your children that can be adapted to virtual learning as I know that many other programs can not be delivered in this way.  We feel blessed to be able to continue doing what we do and we believe that finding the normalcy in our routines is valuable for us all.  Not only for the importance of what we need physically but also for our faculty to build connections in sharing and caring.  I know for sure that they love seeing and connecting with each and every child each week.  Virtually allows the mask off connections, where in-studio allows the physical connection.  Both are valuable in different ways. 

We choose to think of these limits as opportunities for greater creativity and curiosity in ways we can pivot to still offer the quality, consistency and learning in a positive way that you have come to expect Pegasus to offer.  We are committed to constant development in ways to stretch what we do, how we do it and how to deliver that to you.  
We LOVE what we do and believe in the power of the arts to shape our lives and to stretch our imagination.

As the beautiful flying horse, Pegasus, we look forward to 2021 to stretch our wings and to fly in ways limited only by our imagination.
