Spring is in the Air and It’s time for planning and a new Season of Growth!  

​We are in full gear inplanning the Spring Showcase, Summer Camps and the New Fall Programs!

In order to plan the best fall season we took your feedback from the survey and sent you a Rollover Registration document which we asked you to opt in or opt out for the New Fall Season.

We are just about to close the discounted early bird registration on April 11 and did not want you to miss out!

What is in it for you?
We want to plan the best programs for YOU and your family and knowing who we are planning classes for, gives us the information we need to finalize our New Fall Programs and get the Fall Schedule to you earlier!  We want to get it to you as quickly as we can and you can help by signing up for Rollover Registration!

Keeping it Simple for you! 
We also know you have many things to organize and we are looking to keep it Simple for you!  Easy, no hassle rollover registration allows you first priority for fall classes.
We’re helping busy parents by eliminating another to-do on your list!

1. Who - this is for all current students and will reserve your spot at last year's registration fee rate.
2. What - every year you will stay enrolled and be recommended to the best class for your child. In our studio culture of nurturing confident, happy children programs are designed intentionally as multi-age learning. (more below)
3. When - complete the Registration Renewal Survey to either opt in or opt out before April 10th. Registration fees for the next season will be processed on  April 19 and fees increase on June 1 when we open registration for new families.
4. How - for those who have pre-registered, your registration for priority placement in the classes recommended by your child's teacher, for the 2023-2024 season will open online (please refer to your Parent Portal and Fall Program Package) on May 8-26 to register before it is open to new families.

Need to change a class based on your schedule? No problem, just let us know and we will find the next best class?
Need to cancel? No problem, cancel anytime with 30 days written notice.


Looking towards a New Season of Growth, Inspiring and Nurturing our Children to be happy and confident, but first we are finishing this season strong!


At this time of year and with all the things that take up space in our minds, for our families and our life we are all a little more tired.  This is the first full season without the shutdowns and interruptions of our lives from the last few years and we are wanting to get to the finish line, so we can rest and breathe. 
But as we told ourselves and our children over the past few years we are resilient, strong and we can do and finish what we started. We are doing it!  Congratulations, we see you doing hard things!! At Pegasus Dance Studio we are also doing just that! We are continuing to focus on the simple, most basic things that we need as a culture, as parents, as people and a community. The life lessons that we learn from showing up, day to day and keeping our commitments are just one of the lessons we learn in the dance studio.
I’m sure you are  familiar with the sign in our front window and the quote of Misty Lown, who as my mentor and coach (yes, we all need a little help) says, ‘We don't teach kids to be great dancers, we teach dance to make great kids’.


Our goal is to nurture happy and confident children as we grow leaders of tomorrow. We believe we can do that best by multi-age learning. Our classes are designed as a two year study, encouraging cooperation, developing strong social and collaboration skills.


Multi- age learning gives potential for being a learner (year one) and a  leader (year two) by enhancing community, non-competitive learning skills and increasing leadership skills. Dancers build confidence and technique solidified by consistent nurturing of skills, not by age.  We focus on discovery and the joy of learning, working at a pace that focuses on individual goals and progress.


We are excited to plan for the new fall season and finish this season strong with our Dances of Nature Spring Showcase. We continue to focus on the basic core values that our studio as a community inspires for our faculty, staff and students. We are your parenting partners and as educators we use our passion for the Arts as a vehicle to teach these simple values in everything we do and everything we encourage in your children. These simple but not always easy Core Values, hangs in a poster in every studio room and reminds us above all else;


Trust in the process with focus and consistency. Discover the small changes that happen over time, often without much notice. Trust and Celebrate the journey. 

Respect yourself, the opportunities and the people who surround you and help us along our journey. You must give respect to receive respect. 

Above all else choose kindness. Treat each other, your environment and the world around you with kindness.
