About the Visual Art Program:

For the past thirty seven years Pegasus Studios has been offering students a place to be authentic creators.  Our classes find the balance between nurturing the young artist and challenging them.

Discovery of Art: Exploration

Our classes for Level 1/2 students will spend time on drawing practices before diving into our main focus, Mixed Media Projects!  Each class, students will be guided through part of a larger project as we explore a variety of mediums, such as acrylics, watercolors, pastels and sculpture.  The main focus will be on exploring the basics of art and learning new techniques through imagination.

Art 1/2 - 5 - 8 year olds

Discovery of Art: Experimentation

Our classes for Level 3/4 students will begin to explore basic art theory as we spend more time on our Mixed Media projects.  Students will begin to blend classic art practices with modern concepts and will be encouraged to experiment with ideas and styles of their own.  Students will continue building visual libraries in their mind and using those libraries to create a collection of art pieces.  The main focus of this class is using thoughts and ideas to experiment with art and create new works with the artistic arsenal we have been building.
