September Monthly Minute 2023

​Wonderful September!! 

Welcome to our 37th Season!  We feel blessed that we have been part of the Danforth East Toronto Community for the past 3 decades.  We take such joy and pride in watching our youngest dancers grow up at Pegasus, go off into the world with skills that the arts have taught them.  We have had the extreme pleasure to welcome alumni and their children back into our studio and know that we have made a difference, touched a life and that the arts and life skills we teach are being passed on to the next generation.
There is always a new program, new opportunity and something new to try, but we are proud of the studio we have built with love, consistency, professionalism and confidence that our programming is age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate for all children.

This year our theme is Giving Dreams Wings: Watch us Soar!  Our focus is on building solid foundations to take off from and to encourage each dancer to reach higher heights. What better place to make mistakes, grow, gain self-esteem and confidence, surrounded by teachers that are encouraging and supportive.  What more do we want for our children?

Our aim for the last 37 years has never wavered:
To provide an inclusive community that serves the community. Nurturing children to be their best selves. We aim to build our studio in a positive direction with priorities of happiness, health, and wellness.

Our Core Values

1. TRUST - trust in the process with focus and consistency. Discover the small changes that happen over time, often without much notice. Trust and celebrate the journey.
   
2. RESPECT - respect yourself, the opportunities and the people who surround you and help you along your journey. You must give respect to receive respect.
   
3. KINDNESS - above all else choose kindness. Treat each other, your environment and the world around you with kindness.
   

Over the next few weeks you can expect;

• Making new friends
  

• Busy classrooms
  
• Busy hallways
  
• Getting dancewear from our store, swap box, studio parent facebook group
  
• New entry and exit protocols. Senior dancers coming on their own enter and exit by the back door (shoes on the rack). Junior Dancers with parents, enter and exit by the front door. (Please take your shoes off and carry them with you into the studio - plastic tote bags a good idea for wet weather)
  
• The Driveway is our neighbours, not ours. Please do not linger there standing or in your car.
  
• Glebeholme Blvd Parking - Golden Rules (see website)
  

If you are new to the Pegasus Community, please come and introduce yourself to our front desk staff. They will be happy to give you a tour and show you all about our Studio.

We appreciate you and how busy your life is. We limit our communication and will send information by email. Please make sure you have an email address on file. If you unsubscribe, make sure you have all the information needed for your child to have a successful year. There is so much goodness to share with you!
