Celebrating the Holidays At Pegasus

Have you started prepping for the holidays yet?

For children, the winter holidays can be a magical time. They get to eat delicious food, get time off from school, and get to be with their family and loved ones. There are school concerts and—if your child is a student at Pegasus— Winter Wonderland dance events to attend!

Being a parent this time of year is a bit of a different story—the winter holidays might lack that certain magic you remember back from when you were a kid. You have to do the cooking, buy the presents, deal with family, and, of course, drive your kids to their Toronto dance classes on the Danforth, Leslieville, or the Beaches. It’s an awful lot to pack into a month and a half. How can you expect to get everything done in time?

...Well, that’s why we’re giving you a heads up about everything that is coming up at Pegasus Dance over the holiday season! The last things you need are last-minute announcements and surprise recitals that your kids forgot to mention to you.

So, here’s everything you need to know about this year’s Winter Wonderland events.

Supporting a Great Cause

This year, all of our Winter Wonderland events are going to support the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, a wonderful organization that provides guide dogs to Canadians with disabilities. If you’d like to learn more about them, check out their website. Make sure to come out and support the cause!

Winter Wonderland: Imagine That Camp

We’ll be holding this event on Saturday, December 7th from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, for our younger students between 4 and 6 years old. It’s going to be a delightful afternoon with a Toronto dance class, winter crafts, and a dance presentation for the parents. You and your child can attend for only $30! 

Winter Wonderland: Market

We’ll be having our Winter Wonderland Market on Saturday, December 7th from 9 AM to 3 PM. If you’re coming in for the Imagine That Camp event, you can make the trip early to check out the market! It will feature a bake sale by the Performance Team, Beauty Counter, Thirty-One, Stella & Dot, Sweetlegs, Young Living, and Pampered Chef so come out to get some of your holiday shopping done!

Winter Wonderland: Concert

This is it, the big fundraiser event! We’re so excited to raise money for a great cause! 

On Saturday, December 14th at 5:30 PM, we’ll be holding our annual Winter Wonderland concert featuring the Pegasus Performance Teams and a selection of classes in our Winter Wonderland Concert. The students are working hard to prepare a great show for you to enjoy. It’s going to be a lot of fun. Don’t miss it!
