Our curriculum has been designed by artistic director Jane Davis-Munro drawing on her 40 plus years of teaching in the arts with the support of various resources such as Taking Shape Star Leadership, Youth Protection Advocates in Dance, RISE Mindset and Rhythm Works Integrative Dance. Areas of study include leadership, child development, class management, health and safety, personal growth, class design, dance pedagogy and project management. This program grows with our students over the course of their middle and high school years and will provide graduates with certificates of completion and reference letters.
Graduates of our previous STEPP program have gone on to assist and teach in our studio as well as pursued careers outside of dance.
