Intensive Summer Dance Program
Intensive Summer Dance is a fast-moving, challenging program designed to push dancers’ skills in a supportive but rigorous environment.
This program will:
Plus additional classes in other dance styles.
Previous dance experience required.
Ages: 11-18 years
Fees: Dates: August 25-29th 2025
Times: 9:00 - 4:00 pm
Fees: $669 + HST per week
A minimum of 6 students needed to run camp
This program will:
- Expose dancers to a variety of dance styles
- Give dancers the experience of working with professional dance educators
- Allow dancers to build technique, strength, and stamina through daily practice
- Give dancers 30 hours of accelerated dance training
- Encourage dancers to exceed their expectations

Master Teachers
During our Intensive program we will have master teachers working on various styles of dance, endurance training, technique, and expose you to new styles! Special guest teachers as well as our amazing Pegasus Faculty will be working with our intensive students all week.

Carmen Romero is an award-winning flamenco dance artist based in Toronto, Canada, who has significantly impacted the flamenco community both locally and internationally.
Born with a deep passion for dance, Carmen began her flamenco journey after immigrating to Canada in 1971. She trained under renowned masters in Canada and later returned to Spain to study at Amor de Dios in Madrid, as well as in Seville and Jerez de la Frontera. Carmen has performed at prestigious festivals and venues, including the Festival Flamenco du Nîmes in France and the Teatro de Cervantes in Madrid. She captivates audiences with her dynamic stage presence and innovative choreographies that blend traditional flamenco with modern interpretations. For 35 years, she has shared her expertise through the Compania Carmen Romero School of Flamenco Dance Arts in Toronto. Many of her students have become accomplished and award-winning artists, furthering her legacy. Carmen continues to play an integral role in Toronto's arts scene. She serves as the associate curator for the annual Aga Khan Museum Duende International Flamenco Festival, where she showcases world-renowned artists. Additionally, this September, Carmen will be the lead artist curator for the Jamii Esplanade program, which is themed "Discover Your Passion." This motto reflects her dedication to the art of flamenco and the communities she serves. |

Ida danced at Christina Pora’s Classical Ballet School, Hamilton City Ballet, Quinte Ballet School and The National Ballet School of Canada. She is a Vaganova trained dancer that also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from York University with Honours, specialized in Dance Kinesiology and her Associate Teaching Qualification from the Cecchetti Society and The Royal Academy of Dance. As a graduate from Canada’s National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program, Ida instills in her students strong technical training, as well as a healthy approach to dance mentally and physically. She is also the creator and founder of i.d.a. International Dance Arts, a new classical ballet syllabus that redefines how we teach ballet in today’s ever-evolving society.
Olivia began her dance journey at Pegasus Studio, where her passion for movement and self-expression blossomed at a young age. With a strong foundation in various dance styles, she found her true calling in hip-hop, drawn to its dynamic energy, creativity, and storytelling power.
As a dedicated performer and choreographer, Olivia has trained extensively in hip hop, contemporary, jazz, jazz funk, heels and more and has participated in dancing for the Argos A team, the Raptors Northside crew and spent a year traveling with Royal Caribbean! She continues to refine her skills through workshops and collaborations with other dancers, staying inspired by the ever-evolving world of dance. Now, as part of the Pegasus faculty, Olivia brings her enthusiasm, experience, and love for teaching to every class. Her goal is to inspire students to express themselves fearlessly, build confidence, and find joy through movement. Olivia is thrilled to be back at the studio that sparked her journey and is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped her love for dance. |
