Confidence Circle Mini Session,
An introduction to the Student Teacher Education Pegasus Program (STEPP). 

This 6-week leadership course will explore character traits, growth mindset, and personal development, giving students the tools to become positive role models inside and outside the studio. Participants will gain life skills that build strong self-esteem while preparing for future opportunities as a Pegasus student teacher.

This special opportunity is open only to dancers currently in Grade 5.

STEPP - Student Teacher Education Pegasus Program for ages 11 to 16 years

Student Teacher Education Pegasus Program (“STEPP Program”) is a highly distinguished in-studio education leadership program that aims to promote the love of dance and knowledge of instructional methods to our students.

Members will learn and practise the S.T.E.P.P Curriculum designed to guide them through our leadership and dance education process using methods such as in-class training, hands on practice, instructor mentoring, research based activities, self-analysis assignments, and much more.

The S.T.E.P Program is designed to give each student an equal opportunity to participate in the educational process of being a student teacher. The S.T.E.P. Program’s aim is to involve our students in what our instructors already possess – an educated passion and lifelong love for the dance arts and leadership skills that can be used in future educational and employment opportunities. The S.T.E.P. Program provides the necessary STEPping stones towards building confident, hardworking, well-informed, and eager leaders of the future. Discipline, respect, responsibility, enthusiasm, and patience are qualities Pegasus Dance Studios strives to implement in its S.T.E.P.P. Members.
Pegasus Dance Studios will pick its S.T.E.P.P. Members based on the following qualifications:

• Attendance History
  
• Attitude
  
• Displaying a natural love and passion for the dance arts
  
• Displaying a desire to learn and grow as a dance instructor
