Junior Ballet Company

The Junior Ballet Company Class is open to our Level 2 to 4 ballet dancers and is an opportunity to learn group choreography and solos with a focus on performance skills, friendship and fun.  Participants will have an opportunity to perform in the Annual Winter Performance at the end of the first session and the Spring Showcase at the end of the second session. 
​Required - twice a week ballet program for Level 3 dancers, Level 2 dancers must take one ballet and one other dance class (two classes minimum), Summer Dance Camp.
Recommended - Jazz or Modern                                                                                                                       

Ballet Company 

Ballet Company Class is a program designed for our Vocational students to have an opportunity to learn short dances, choreography and variations in addition to their regular ballet class. Participants will also explore performance skills including:  projection, spatial awareness, phrasing, choreographic intention, communication and musicality. The dancers will be invited to perform in the Winter Performance at the end of the first session and in the Spring Showcase at the end of the second session.  

Required - twice a week Vocational level ballet program (two classes minimum). Summer Dance Intensive
​Recommended - Vocational Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz.  ​

Mastering Dance Technique: Excellence in dance technique is our foundation.  As representatives of Pegasus Dance Studios, excellence in technique is a requirement.  BC dancers take multiple classes per week. Requirements vary by age.

Performing on a Regular Basis: The heartbeat of our program is community performances.  BC members grow in confidence and showmanship each time they perform.  Dancers learn to expect the unexpected and adapt to any performance venue as they share their gift of dance.
